Red Eye and Sniffle Free

We tried out Claritin’s Children’s Syrup for a few days. My 3 year old son has severe year round allergies. We typically don’t go to playgrounds because he is so sensitive to the wood chips most use as ground cover. Pollen is him mortal enemy. Children’s Claritin Syrup helped him have 15 hours of symptom free day including a few hours of outdoor play at the local park. It was nice seeing him be a kid with out his eyes puffing up and getting all red. By reducing his symptoms his breathing was easier and there were no sniffles. I am one happy mama.

I recommend Children’s Claritin to parents with kids of all levels of seasonal allergies. I am sure the less sensitive the child to seasonal allergies the longer the Claritin will last. For us 15 hours is AMAZING.

Disclosure:
I received a product sample via #BzzAgent and #Claritin to test in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Review: iMacket Ultra Thin Clear Soft TPU Keyboard Cover Skin for Macbook Pro 13″ 15″ 17″ MacBook Air 13 and iMac Wireless Apple Keyboard

The iMacket Ultra Thin Clear Soft Keyboard Cover Skin is fabulous. I have tried a few other keyboard covers and haven’t liked them but this one caught my eye. When I got it I immediately put it on my keyboard. I like how it feels as I type, it is smooth and not encumbering at all. I took a picture but I couldn’t see the difference with or without the keyboard cover. It will be a lot easier to clean than the standard keyboard and with a preschooler just learning how to use the laptop that is a huge plus. I am not as freaked out about messy fingers on the macbook. I have not found any flaws yet.

Review: SnorePro-X Advanced Anti Snoring and Sleep Apnea Device

I used the SnorePro-X Advanced Anti Snoring and Sleep Apnea Device last night for the first time.  I loved them.  It was the first night in a long time I didn’t wake up with a sore throat from snoring.  They fit comfortably in my nose and I did’t really feel them there at all.  I was amazed at how I instantly felt like my nasal passage was opened up and I could breathe better.

Review: Majestic Pure Retinol Moisturizer Cream

I like this cream. I have used this for a couple of days and so far it has helped my skin to seem more plump. My skin also has a really nice glow to it now. My skin did not feel dry and it isn’t flaky like it was before. I didn’t like how the cream felt. I used a tiny amount and it felt thick on my face, however I am not used to wearing face creams. Overall I really like this cream and would recommend it to anyone.

Review: Huge Rainbow Kite – 46-inch Wingspan

This kite is fabulous.  My 3 yr old and I took it for a spin as soon as we got it out of the box because he was so excited.  There wasn’t much wind but that didn’t stop us from having a blast.  It took off super easy every time we would get a gust of wind.  It is very sturdy.  I must have hit the ground full force about 20 times, every time the wind quit blowing.  It is build to last!  The material is light weight yet perfect for catching the wind..I love how long the tail is and how vibrant the colors are.  My little guy even drug it on the ground a little and it shows no sign of wear.  AMAZING!  This kite is just as described!

Food Friday – Easy and Fast Chili

This is a quick and simple way to make chili in a hurry.
1 packet of chili mix
1 jar of salsa(what ever type/style you like, I use a large jar)
1 can beans(I use black beans)
1 small can tomato paste (Depending on how large a jar of salsa you use and how thick you like your chili)
1/2 lb cooked ground beef optional(I generally skip the ground beef)

Mix it in a pot simmer for 10-15 minutes and serve with cornbread, rice and/tortillas.

OMG!!! Sean and I are officially FREAKED out. LOL. We kept hearing noise and it sounded like someone was rearranging furniture upstairs in the attic above us. So I was just curious if maybe it was the new neighbors, so I decided I would take a look. So I went into the hall and over to the stairway door. It was closed and locked. But someone can go up there and lock the door behind them so I went into our apartment and grabbed the keys. I opened the door and went up the stairs to the attic door. It has a latch lock that can only be locked from the outside. It was locked!!
**Let me note I have always gotten a funny feeling walking up the stairs to the widows walk like I was being watched or something.**
As I was unlocking the door to the attic area I heard Sean coming to the stairs and waited for him. As I opened the door I was overwhelmed with this feeling of sadness and death… It was enough all I could say was “wow…look at this”
There was an old trunk, looked at least 100yrs old, old bed stand, a bunch of random house items, clothes and a hospital bed with a hand crank and a screen that looks like something that would have been used in the show M.A.S.H. and an old basin on a vanity also looking over 100yrs old. Sean said “looks like something can blow around up here or there is an animal up here.” So I closed and locked the door. As we were leaving I put my hand on the door and apologized for invading their space.
When we got back down stairs the noise in the attic got louder and more intense. And then it stopped abruptly.
